ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Financial independence and economic empowerment of our citizens is a major focus of Delta Chapters worldwide. HCAC continues its focus on Financial Fortitude, specifically increasing the personal wealth, management of assets, financial security and entrepreneurship for women through individual and community education and awareness. The Economic Development Thrust actively collects and disseminates current information in support of local minority-owned businesses and other entrepreneurship initiatives.
DELTA JUNIOR TANK YOUTH PITCH COMPETITION
Calling all young entrepreneurs! Do you have an idea or invention and want to start your own business? Are you currently a young entrepreneur and need a little cash to help grow your business? Do you know of a young entrepreneur in the making and want to help them get more exposure for their brand?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, you want to invite these young entrepreneurs to participate in HCAC's Delta Junior Tank Youth Pitch Competition!
- Eligibility - Youth ages 6-18
- Contestants will pitch their current business, business idea or startup for a chance to win money or prizes to go towards their business.

SOUTH SIDE WOMEN IN BUSINESS EXPO
The Henry County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. have presents the award-winning Southside Women in Business Expo. Year after year, this award winning event is geared toward educating women who currently own their own business or are looking to go into business for themselves. There are panel discussions of business women who are experts in their field as well as breakout sessions to further answer your questions or concerns.
