EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Our programs are designed to address the need for excellence in education and to confront problems of low academic achievement among African American youth. HCAC provides scholarships, mentorship and educational/cultural enrichment opportunities.
NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Our Educational Development Program is now accepting applications for the upcoming school year. The youth program is for students in middle and high school, boys and girls living and attending school within the Henry County area.
Between September and April our Educational Development committee meets once a month for a workshop that is impactful for the participant and the parent. Focusing on topics that will enhance the knowledge of each participant as well as instilling the joys of giving back to their own community. Our program is directed towards middle and high school young men and women.
Delta GEMS (High School aged girls), ACADEMY (Middle School aged girls), EMBODI (Middle and High School aged boys)
