We are H.C.A.C. – the Henry County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma

Theta Sorority, Inc.! The 400+ dedicated and dynamic members of this chapter and I are excited to invite you to visit our virtual home and website to learn more about our chapter and the services that we provide to the Henry County Community.

On December 4, 2004, 95 trailblazing women came together to charter the Henry County Alumnae Chapter. For over 19 years we have been a reliable and impactful part of the fabric of Henry County by serving the cities of Hampton, Locust Grove, McDonough, and Stockbridge.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was founded on the campus of Howard University by twenty-two visionary women who were committed to public service. As we work to demonstrate and fulfill the vision of our illustrious founders, we provide award winning programs and services which highlight our five-point programmatic thrusts. These include Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Physical & Mental Health, and Political Awareness & Involvement. Through our thoughtful and comprehensive programming we are able to provide voter registration and education, youth mentoring, health fairs, financial literacy , job fairs, political candidate forums, entrepreneurial workshops, and many others.

In addition to innovative programming, we also eagerly invest in the

leaders of our future by awarding college scholarships each year to

deserving graduating high school seniors. Over the last 15 years we have awarded over $300, 000 in scholarships, much of which is made possible through our fundraising efforts. Please be on the lookout for our fundraising events which through your support will help us to continue to positively impact not only our youth but other segments of the community as well.

I am extremely proud to serve as chapter president and lead this

chapter as we continue our rich tradition of sisterhood, scholarship,

and service. We are WHEELS UP in our approach to serving the members of our chapter and the residents of Henry County.
